Time, depth, and a slower connection with the jungle
Premium Tour is designed for travelers who don’t just want to visit the Amazon, but want to spend enough time to truly feel it. Fewer transitions, more repeated moments, and a pace that fully adapts to jungle and lodge life.
Is this experience right for you?
Premium Tour is ideal if you
Want to slow down and spend real time in the Amazon
Prefer depth over variety, with space to repeat experiences
Care deeply about wildlife, nature, and understanding daily jungle life
Enjoy quiet moments as much as guided activities
If you’re looking for a more social experience with a slightly lighter structure, Ideal Tour (4D/3N) may feel like a better fit.

How the days usually unfold
(Always adapted to weather, wildlife, and the group)
Day 1 — Arrival and first contact
The experience begins at 11:00 a.m. at the entrance of the Cuyabeno Reserve. From there, you will travel by canoe along the river for approximately three hours, observing birds, monkeys, and other wildlife along the way.
Upon arrival at the lodge, you will enjoy lunch and have time to settle in and rest. In the afternoon, you will head out to explore the river and lagoon in search of more wildlife, with the possibility of swimming as the sun sets.
At night, you will take a canoe excursion to observe caimans. After dinner, the naturalist guide will offer talks on topics such as Amazonian culture, communities, flora, fauna, and conservation.
Day 2 — Forest, rivers, and wildlife
After breakfast, you will take a guided walk of approximately four hours through primary rainforest with a naturalist guide, who will share knowledge about medicinal plants, insects, frogs, and birds.
After lunch at the lodge, there will be time to rest. Later, you will learn the traditional process of preparing coffee and chocolate and take part in the experience.
In the afternoon, you will explore narrow waterways in a traditional paddled canoe and enjoy the sunset on the river. If conditions allow, there may be an opportunity to spot pink river dolphins.
Back at the lodge, you will prepare for a night walk. After dinner, you may try different traditional Amazonian drinks.
Day 3 — Community and local life
After breakfast, you will visit the local community. A local woman will share her culture, clothing, language, and gastronomy, and together you will prepare lunch.
In the afternoon, the community shaman will explain medicinal plants and traditional rituals.
Back at the lodge, after dinner, you may join evening talks or spend a few hours — or even the entire night — in a prepared space in the forest, listening to the intense sounds of the jungle.
Day 4 — Silent paddling
This day is dedicated to slowing down even more. After breakfast, you will take part in a silent paddling experience in a traditional canoe, drifting down the river without noise to observe wildlife in complete calm.
The rest of the day unfolds with gentle activities, time at the lodge, and space to simply be, rest, and observe.
At night, after dinner, a guided night walk is offered.
Day 5 — Sunrise and departure
Very early in the morning, you will head out to explore the river to observe birds and enjoy the sunrise. You will then return to the lodge for breakfast and pack your belongings.
The return canoe journey includes one final exploration of the Cuyabeno River, lasting approximately two hours, arriving at the entrance of the reserve around 11:00 a.m. This marks the end of the experience.
